CHERRY-CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1 Box Angel Food Cake
1/2 Cup Water
1-1/2 (6 oz Bag) Cup Dried Fruit (any kind you would like "cherry craisins," apples, raisins, orange)
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (can add nuts, coconut, cinnamon)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine angel food cake mixture with the 1/2 cup of water. Don't use the amount of water suggested on the box. Blend together per directions on the box. Stir in your favorite dried fruit, chocolate chips, nuts...whatever you decide. Drop by teaspoonfuls on teflon coated cookie sheet. Spray cookie sheets with Pam. Bake between 5-8 minutes. Check at about 5 minutes. Cookies will be done when puffed up and light golden brown on the bottom. Remove cookie sheet from oven, let cool a bit and remove with spatula. Angel food is a tad sticky so cookies don't just slide off easily. Slowly work with spatula. This is great with the apple/cinnamon mixture. If you use the dried apple, you may need to cut into smaller pieces. I also love the Orange Craisins with the Chocolate Chips. Yum! ENJOY...the Meals in a Rush way!
