GRAHAM CRACKER COOKIES

Ingredients:
6 T. Butter, melted
1 to 2 Cups Graham Crackers, crushed
1 Package Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Nuts, bite sized pieces (crushed - I use walnuts)
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt butter, crush nuts and graham crackers. I put the graham crackers in a small plastic baggie and use my hands to crush. This is a great project so kids can help in the kitchen.  In a standard cake pan (13x9) spread around the melted butter, making sure the whole bottom is covered. **The cake pan is important; make sure it's the standard kind (13x9) that you would bake a rectangular cake in. Then, spread around the crushed graham crackers. Use as much to coat the bottom evenly. Then, sprinkle around the chocolate chips and nuts. Evenly around the whole dish pour the sweetened condensed milk to coat the top. Put in oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes. The milk will slightly bubble and turn a very, very light brown. Don't burn the milk. **VERY IMPORTANT** Once the cookies are done, cool completely!!! Let them cool down and then place in the refrigerator until nice and chilled or let sit overnight. Then, cut into bit-sized squares. These are gooey cookies that need time to harden up.  Enjoy...The Meals in a Rush way!
