TAWNYA WINS HER FIRST TV EMMY!
It was as a night to remember - winning my first Emmy Award while working in the Denver television market. I took home the golden beauty for my interview with Colorado's Former Governor Bill Ritter and Former First Lady Jeannie Ritter about their life in Zambia during my series, "Inside Africa."
This was a dream come true.
Other Emmy nominations have been for my reporting, videography work and producing in Haiti and Africa.
