LOVIN' FROM THE OVEN CHICKEN DISH

Ingredients:
1 Box Long Grain Wild Rice - mixed with seasoning packet inside box
Butter
5-6 Chicken Breasts
1 Can Mushroom Soup
3/4 C. Water
1 Package Dried Onion Soup

Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Butter the sides and bottom of a 9 X 13 glass dish.  Mix the wild rice with the flavor packet.  Pour on the bottom of dish the wild rice, about 1/2 to 3/4 Cup. Spread evenly around the bottom. You can use the entire rice in box, but make sure it is spread evenly and thin. Place the chicken breasts on top of that. Mix together (1) can of mushroom soup with ¾ Cup water. Pour that mixture evenly over all the chicken, making sure all of the rice contents is covered with the soup/water mixture; may need to take spoon and combine with rice. Then, sprinkle evenly over the chicken the whole package of dried onion soup. Cover tightly with foil. Place in oven and bake 2 - 2½ hours. This is for a slower cook. If you need to speed it up; put oven to 400 degrees. That will take half the time. Don't peek too much underneath the foil. The steam will escape. Once the soup is bubbling it should be good to go! Enjoy...the Meals in a Rush way.
