STUFFED BELL PEPPERS

Ingredients:
4 Large Bell Peppers
1 lb. Ground Beef
8 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
1/2 Cup Firmly Packed Bread Crumbs (you can make the homemade kind by breaking bread into small pieces and let dry out for about two days, you can also use rice or saltine crackers)
Season All, Pepper to taste
1 T. Chopped Green Onion
Slices of Cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven t0 400 degrees. On stove top in pan that will hold all bell peppers, place about an inch of water. Cut off top of each pepper and clean out the inside removing seeds, etc. Place peppers in boiling water to steam for about 10 minutes, cover. Remove peppers with a tong and place on paper towel to dry. Let sit for about 20 minutes, turning over so the water inside is poured out. While drying, make the hamburger mixture. Stir together all of the above remaining ingredients except the cheese. Stuff each pepper with the mixture and place in ungreased baking dish. Cover with tinfoil and place in oven. Bake covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and let bake another 15 minutes. Place sliced cheese on top and cook until melted. Serve with baked potato. A great dessert to pair with this is my "5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake!" That's found under Decadent Desserts. ENJOY...the Meals in a Rush way!
