Hot Chicken Salad
Tawnya Rush brings Meals in a Rush to the Magic City.
With a lot on our plates many of us are looking for a healthy and homemade meal that doesn’t eat up a lot of time that are easy, delicious and yummy.
Tawnya has dished out Meals in a Rush in different markets during her tv career, nationally and internationally – making way for her first Emmy Award.
Hot Chicken Salad Ingredients:
4 Cups Canned Chicken or Diced Cooked Chicken
3 Cups Diced Celery
½ Cup Pre-sliced Packaged Almonds (usually found in the baking aisle)
2 T. Grated Onion (I use cut up scallions)
2 T. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
(Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees – grease all around (I use butter) a 13X9 baking dish)
Directions:
Pour all above ingredients into a mixing bowl – give the ingredients a good stir.
Pour the mixed ingredients into the baking dish – spreading evenly.
Put into the oven and let cook about 20-25 minutes (ovens vary) until cheese is melted.
